Meet Dr. Andrew Baker
Dr. Andrew Baker believes that dentistry is about much more than caring for teeth, it is about caring for people. His faith shapes the way he approaches both life and dentistry, with a desire to serve others, treat people with compassion, and pursue excellence in everything he does. He strives to listen carefully to each patient, understand their individual needs and concerns, and provide thoughtful, conservative care that supports their oral health and overall well-being.
Dr. Baker graduated from Oregon State University before earning his dental degree from Oregon Health & Science University, where he graduated with honors. After beginning his career at a private practice in Salem, he joined the team at Lake Grove Dental in early 2025. He is passionate about continually growing as a dentist and craftsman, believing that excellence requires a commitment to lifelong learning. He regularly pursues continuing education, explores new techniques and technologies, and stays current with developments in the dental industry so he can continue to provide the highest level of care to his patients.
Andrew is married to his best friend, Julia, and they are both lifelong Oregonians who are excited to call the Lake Oswego community home. Julia works as a nurse at OHSU. Together, they enjoy an active lifestyle filled with hiking, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. They are actively involved in their church, and value opportunities to serve and encourage those around them. Andrew is a member of the U.S. Army reserves, in a Medical Readiness unit, where he has the opportunity to serve our country and continue developing as a leader. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing sports, his favorites to cheer for are the Oregon State Beavers and the Boston Red Sox.
Dr. Baker is grateful for the opportunity to care for the Lake Oswego community and looks forward to welcoming patients and their families to Lake Grove Dental.
